In Pompeo's remarks, at least I did not hear a word of cooperation or dialogue. We are following with concern the developments of the policy of maximum suffocation against Iran. We have worked tirelessly to maintain JCPOA . We regret the withdrawal of the United States from JCPOA and, in parallel, Iran's actions that are contrary to JCPOA’s commitments. The automatic return of sanctions against Iran is not compatible with JCPOA.

Iran's envoy to the United Nations announced the possibility of requesting members of the Security Council for the full implementation of JCPOA "The United States yesterday submitted its report to the Security Council on the extension of arms embargoes on Iran and called for the unity of the Security Council. The State Department's statement did not comment on the Security Council's response.
