PEJOURNAL – An opposition party, called Vente Venezuela,through its leader, María Corina Machado, signed a cooperation agreement with Israel’s Likud party, which is in government through Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Vente Venezuela described this decision as “a historic and very important step”.
In the document, signed by Eli Vered Hazan, representing the Likud Foreign Relations Division, and by María Corina, on behalf of Vente Venezuela, both parties pledge to strengthen relations between the peoples of Israel and Venezuela.
The political organizations also announced that the cooperation included “political, ideological and social issues, as well as making progress on issues related to strategy, geopolitics and security”, so that this closeness becomes an “operative association”. All this – they add – framed in the western values to which both parties subscribe: freedom and market economy.
Regarding the announcement, Vente Venezuela indicated that this sends a clear message to Nicolás Maduro, President of Venezuela to Venezuelans and to the world, regarding the consolidation of relations with strategic allies for the Venezuelan struggle, in the face of threats such as that of Iran Likewise, it indicates that this step translates into a greater presence of the freedom party and its message in other latitudes.

” Pursuant to this official document, the Foreign Relations Division of the Likud Party, represented by Eli Vered Hazan, and the Vente VenezuelaParty, represented by María Corina Machado, undertake to forge an alliance between our two parties to cooperate on political, ideological, and social matters, as well as advancing cooperation on issues related to strategy, geopolitics and security, among others,in order to create an operational partnership.The goal is to bring the people of Israel closer to the people of Venezuela while advancing, together, the Western values to which both parties subscribe: freedom, liberty, and a market economy.Both parties pledge to maintain contact and actively cooperate. “
